First off thank you so much for all your thoughts, prayers and vibes. I am convinced they really do help!!!
Today Michael and I made the quick drive over to Johns Hopkins for our in-depth growth scan and meeting with the Maternal Fetal Specialist (MFS) Our u/s lasted over an hour than we met with the MFS, and all looks well with the baby. Based on all my tests and past u/s the MFS thinks that my due date is off and needs to be changed to a week or7-10 days later. The baby is still measuring on the small side in the 14th percentile but not nearly as bad as the 7th percentile that we were originally told.
He said that if we were to go off my original due date of May 21st than it makes sense that the baby is measuring in the 7th, but if we move my due date back to the May 26th- 28th, than the measurements looks more in line with the 14th percentile. So now I have another appointment with my OB on the 12th to go over all the findings and get my due date straightened out. The baby is measuring 2 pounds 4 oz. right now which is good news. We will need to continue to monitor and get routine growth scans, since the baby is still on the small side. But as of right now we don't need to worry about an ultra early delivery.
