Many Uses For A Door

A while back I bought some magnetic toys for our fridge. However, the kept scratching the doors up so Michael said we couldn't use them anymore. I put them in Austin's toy box and he has played with them from time to time. It never occurred to me to let Austin use them on our front door. We got them out again and he literally played with them on the front door for over an hour.

New Bed?!?!?!

The other day Austin pulled him changing pad off his dresser and dragged it into our living room. I gave him a pillow and his blanket and he thought this "new bed" was the coolest thing ever.

Cleaning Up

Our patio was in need of a good cleaning, so Austin and I set out to do that a few days ago. We swept the patio, emptied out the flower pots, and put everything away.

Doesn't everyone clean the yard with a paint roller?!?!!

Retro Rocket

Michael's sister, Briana, was over the other night to play with Austin. He loves when she comes over because she pushes him around our house on his Retro Rocket. It is kind of funny that Austin and his Aunt are only 6 years apart.

Aquarium

A few weeks back Michael and I took Austin to the National Aquarium for their $5 Friday's. I am so sure that Austin would love all the fish, but it was so packed that he was too overwhelmed. He did enjoy looking at the Puffins, Penguins, and loved the bright colorful tropical fish. He had no interest in the sharks, sting rays, turtles. Oh well there is always next time.

Scrub A Dub Dub... Finally Liking The Tub

Austin is finally starting to enjoy taking a bath. He has never been a big fan of the water, so Michael and I have been letting him take showers with us. It is quick, simple and usually he doesn't mind to much. It was also convenient since Austin's bathroom is under construction. When the renovation is complete I going to start giving him baths again in his own tub, so I wanted to start getting him to enjoy bath time. I thought it was going to be a complete disaster when I put him in it, but much to my surprise he loved it. He still hates getting his hair washed, but it is all about baby steps. Right?!?!

Thinking Ahead

I have had great experiences in the past with Shutterfly. I made our wedding albums with them. We cant forget Austin's One Year Album and also his ABC Book. I love the quality of their products and their customer is service is awesome.

Before we know it Christmas will be here, which means I need to start thinking about the Christmas cards I will sending friends and family. I normally send out the generic cards that everyone uses. This year I decided to create ours using Shutterfly.

I love that I can create our Christmas cards and make them they way I want. I can choose a few pictures and customize the text and font. With close to 200 option I think my only problem will be choosing which design layout I want to use. Here are some front runners.....

Picture Tree Christmas
Now Playing Snow

Family Ornament

Confection Dazzle

In addition to Christmas cards you can also create other things to give as gifts....
