Spring Snow

After the winter we had, bitter cold and barely any snow, I never would have guessed our first "good" snow fall would come on the 2nd or 3rd ay of Spring!!!! We woke up last Monday morning to at least 4 inches of snow, and much to Austin's delight continued to snow throughout the day.

Since we got very little snow this year Austin made sure to take full advantage of it. Along with 3 other friends Austin played outside for close to 2 hours. We built a snowman, made snow angels, had a snowball fight, snd had fun running around.

As much as I hate the cold weather and  snow, it is fun to see such joy on the kids face.

Dying Easter Eggs

Tomorrow we are having a few of Austin's friends over for an Easter play date. The kiddos are going to decorate eggs and sugar cookies. In an effort to keep my floors and table from being ruined Austin and I dyed the eggs today.

Standing Up

Within the last 2 weeks, Callie has begun full on crawling and pulling up. Nothing is safe these days, and she will pull herself up while holding onto anything. The only problem is ok ncw she is standing up, she gets scared and starts crying.  She hasn't attempted to "cruise" yet and that is fine by me!!

Sports Mix Monday

Today on the agenda for sports was football. Awesome was so excited since last session he missed when I played football. Like everything was so cute to see the little kids running around throwing football, and kicking, attempting to catch, and even learning to hike the ball.

Beauty Shop

Today is a gross, rainy day out so too kill time and beat boredom Austin decided to put together a makeshift beauty parlor. Armed with a diaper box, Callie's vanity, and a cabinet lock we had ourselves a beauty parlor. He sat on his "stool", we sat Callie down in front of the vanity and he went to work.
