Austin's Granny, my Grandmother, is an avid painter. She is always painting beautiful pictures for family, friends and her local art gallery. Since Austin loves to paint I decided that it was be great for him to paint a picture for her. It is in the mail now and on it's way to CA... I hope she likes it.

Last weekend Briana came to stay the night, since they didn't have school the next day. As always the house was turned upside down, all the toys were taken out the bins, and the musical instruments were brought out.

I am embarrassed to admit that this is what our living room looks like on any given day. Oh the joys of having a toddler.

Tubes It Is...

Yesterday we had Austin pre-op appointment to have tubes put in his ears. We met with his surgeon and he said that it will be a quick 5-10 min procedure at their out patient center. He is scheduled to have the procedure done on March 3rd. I will post more after he has the surgery.

Austin's 18 Month Check Up

Austin had his 18 month check up yesterday, we were a few weeks behind due to illnesses and vacations. He has been sick since we got back from our cruise and already had to reschedule his appt once. I talked to the nurse and explain that he was still sick but she said come in anyways they can at least do his check up and the shots another day.

Well turns out his has yet another ear infection, that makes like number 5 or 6. So we got a referral to see an ENT for possible tubes. On a brighter note, he is up to 25.6 pounds and 32 inches long. Oh yeah and he was completely up to date on his shots, so he didn't have to get any this time.


This Wednesday we have an allergy appointment to have him retested for his diary allergy.

Perfect Sunset

While on the boat, we got to watch the most perfect sunsets. They were absolutely breath taking.

Cruise-Part 2

Since I will explained most of the cruise in the first entry, this post will be the rest of our pictures. Well not the rest seeing as we took close to 500 between everyone. Here are some my favorites in no particular order...

Cozumel

Cozumel was awesome, the weather was a perfect 78 degrees. We spent the first part of the day walking around downtown Cozumel, shopping and exploring. I love nothing more than haggling prices for items because there is no way I am going to pay $30 for a shell necklace. Yes, someone tried to sell me a shell necklace on a string for 3o bucks! After exploring the city for a bit we hopped in a cab and headed to Paradise Beach for the rest of the afternoon. We didn't get in the water but Austin had a blast climbing on the lounge chairs and playing in the sand. We ended the day at Carlos and Charlies for lunch.
