A Letter To My 5 Month Old

Dear Austin,

Wow!!! Another month has flown by, can we please slow down time! We are now living in our new house and things are very exciting. You have your own room now, but still aren't sleeping in it. We are waiting for your furniture to come from Grandma Bev's house. Your getting to be such a big boy. Here are a few things that are going on with you.

• Still aren't sleeping!!!
• Started eating oatmeal and you LOVE it!!!
• You absolutely love your jumperoo
• Your really starting to move around more, you are rolling all over the place. We better start baby proofing.

I hear you waking up from your nap. I am sorry this letter is short, but just know that I love you very very much!!!

Christmas

This year we were fortunate enough to get to spend Christmas with both Michael's family and mine. My Dad, Mom, sister and brother all flew up to share in Austin's first Christmas. Not only was this Austin's first Christmas, it was Michael and I's first Christmas in our new house! I think Austin was a very good boy this year (although his sleeping habits could use a little work). Santa must have thought so too, because when we all woke up Christmas morning our little house was full of presents!!! Austin's big gift from Santa was a jumperoo, and boy does he love it!!

A Letter to my 4 Months Old

Dear Austin,

Happy 4 month birthday little guy. Time is flying by, and it really needs to slow down. You are getting so big and I don't like it. Don't get me wrong I love watching you learn and explore your surrounding, but I miss that little boy I had 4 months ago. So many things have happened this past month. You celebrated 2 holidays this month, Halloween and Thanksgiving. Here are a few things that you have been doing lately:

1. You celebrated 2 holidays this month, Halloween and Thanksgiving.
2. You started rolling over and there is no stopping you. I put you on the floor the other day while I made some lunch and you rolled all the way across the floor.
   
3. Unfortunately you still are not sleeping through the night. Some nights you only get up once, but more often than not you are up at least twice.
   
4. Your getting very attached to Mommy, you really hate it when I leave the room and you can't see me.
   
5. Your starting to get a belly laugh, and it completely makes my day when you start laughing!

You have your 4 month appointment this up coming Friday. I hope it goes better than the last appointment and very few tears are shed. So many exciting things are coming up and will be happening this up coming month. We will be moving into our very first house, Daddy has been working so hard to get it ready for you. Christmas is coming soon, and Grandpa and Grandma Cechin are coming out along with Aunt Heather, Uncle B and Uncle Matt!!! We are all so excited.

Happy Thanksgiving

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year. We has a lot to be thankful for, especially thankful for this little turkey!!!

A Year Ago Today....

We found out we were expecting our first little baby!!! We were both filled with excitement and nervousness all at the same time. I cant believe that this past year has gone by so fast. We now have a 16 week little boy, who brings has so much joy and happiness. We love you little guy!

3 Month Pictures

While we were in Dallas last month, Michael and I met up with our wonderful wedding photographer and she took Austin's 3 month pictures. I absolutely love they turned out, and I cant get over how big my little guy is getting.

Our Trip to Dallas

A few weeks ago Michael and I took Austin to Texas to see my family and some of our friends. We were both nervous and excited at the time. Nervous to be on a plane with a baby, but excited to see my family and for my brother Matt to meet Austin. The plane ride going to Dallas was quite the experience. We had a layover in Atlanta, and Austin cried for over an hour during on the planes. I am not talking about a little whining, no this was full on screaming!!! Thankfully coming on the plane right back to Baltimore he didn't make a peep and slept most of the time. Austin was quite the hit in Dallas, everyone loved him. While we were there we got to hang out with my cousins Taylor and Jaimie and their new baby Justin!!! Enough talking, I will let the pictures speak for themselves, and there are lots of them.
