Easter 2011 Recap

We couldn't have asked for a better Easter morning. When we got up to leave for church it was already 75 out. We decided not to hide eggs outside since it had rained over night and our backyard was a mud pit. Plus we were hunting for eggs at Michael's parents house later that day. Austin was excited about his Easter basket, he even played a little ball with Daddy before we went to church.

Checking out his basket, it is only empty because he had already dumped everything out.

We had to change outfits because it was getting so hot out

Easter Eve

Austin was all for dyeing the Easter eggs this year. I was having fun too, until I realized that the dye that came with the eggs was pure food coloring. Which made for a very hard clean up.

Such concentration

Messy finger
Can you guess which eggs are mine and which are Austin's?!?!?!

Last Year in my 20's

That's right today is my birthday, it is such a bittersweet feeling. Today marks the day that starts the last year in my 20's :::insert tear:::

I also have the pleasure and privilege of sharing with birthday with my precious Grandma Nori who would have been 92 years old today. She always said I was her greatest birthday present. Not a day goes by that we don't think about you. We love and miss you every day. Hope your having a great birthday with Grandpa Dino and Uncle Larry!!!

Cherry Blossoms

Who needs to drive all the way to DC for the Cherry Blossoms when I can walk right outside our building and enjoy the trees and their beautiful blossoms.

He was not happy that I was taking his picture instead of pushing him during our walk.

Our Very Own Swiper

Austin thinks he is so sneaky and sly, like Swiper the Fox. When we bought him his table and chair set we had no clue that he was going to use the chair and a stepping stool. He can now reach everything, so we have to be very careful what we put on the counters.

Here is what I saw him swiping the other day...
