Barnyard Bash

My sister is a kindergarten teacher at Austin Elementary School. While we were in Coppell last week she invited us to their in-school field trip, Barnyard Bash. Austin is obsessed with animals and slides so this was right up his alley.

Austin loves to help out around the house. The other night I was making some meals for the upcoming week and Austin just had to help out. What chef can help out in the kitchen without taste testing their masterpiece.

Project 52- Week 9 Handy Manny's Tools Strikes Again

Our condo is very tiny and our space is limited. We are in desperate need of a desk, but the only space for is what being used by Austin's jumperoo that he hasn't used in close to 8 months. I finally decided to was time to break it down to store under our bed. Well when I got to work, Austin ran to get his Pat his hammer. I wasn't surprised, no one is allowed to do any kind of demolition/construction without his "help".

Surgery Day

Michael and I got up bright and early at 5:45 this morning to take Austin to get tubes put in. I was allowed to go back while they put Austin under and he fought it tooth and nail. He held his breath so he didn't have to breathe in the gas but finally gave in. The procedure took just over 10 minutes than they let us come back in after he was awake.

It took him a good hour before he was awake enough to go home. He fell asleep on our way home and is now sleeping in his crib. Thanks again for all the well wishes. We really appreciate it!!!
