12 Week Ultrasound

So today Michael and I had an appointment at the hospital for a detailed 12 week ultrasound, and to go over some blood work. Well everything went great, although we were there almost 3 hours. On the bright side we got to see the baby for almost an hour. Both of us were shocked at when the picture showed up on the screen. We couldn't believe that it actually looks like a little person inside of a lima bean or peanut like last time. He/she was moving all over the place and wouldn't sit still so the ultrasound tech could get accurate measurements. He/she finally settled down for about 15 minutes then fell asleep. The tech told us that we have a very stubborn baby on our hands. Michael replied by saying, they he/she will be just like it's mom!!! Thanks Michael :) The heartbeat was strong at 158 bpm, which is lower then the first but the Dr. told us it is still great. We have another ultrasound set up in 5 weeks at the hospital, hopefully at that time we will find out the sex of the baby. Enough talking, enjoy the pictures of Baby B!!!
