I was really worried how Austin would do. He is not a fan of Santa, Easter Bunny, etc. so I thought for sure he would be completely freaked out by Mickey, Minnie, etc. but he did great. We woke up bright and early Monday at 5 am to head out to Anaheim with my mom and cousin Amy. We ended up making great time, so we stopped and grabbed a quick breakfast before making our way to the park. Austin was pretty grumpy most of the morning, he was super tired from getting up so early and the time change (3 hours) but we made the most of it.
The first ride we hit was Peter Pan, which made Austin a little nervous at times but other than that he enjoyed it. After that we went on Dumbo, which he loved but only when we were going low. He flipped out when it went up high. He wasn't a fan of the carousel and he hated the Winnie the Pooh ride, but he loved It's a Small World and playing in Toon Town.
All in all it was a great day. We spent close to 9 hours there, and Austin wasn't ready to go when we left. I was also surprised that I wasn't tired seeing as I was 27 weeks pregnant. Thankfully he took a much needed hour nap around 11 and woke up refreshed and ready to run and play. I wished we would have stayed long enough to see the parade but we didn't want to hit traffic.
