Callie at 9 Months

Age: 9 months

Weight: 16 lbs   7th percentile

Height: 26 1/4 inches    14th percentile

Head:

Clothes: Still in 6 months, but slowly moving into 9 months.

Sleeping: On a good day she is still taking two naps, one from 10:00-12:00 and another from 4:00-5:00. Than she goes down for the night between 7:45 and 8:00. She usually wakes up 3 times at night, and is up for the day around 7 or 8.

Eating Habits: She absolutely hates pureed foods. She really enjoys finger foods, she loves feeding herself. She loves bits of chicken, cheese, pasta, peas and carrots. We are going to start yogurt, per the doctors request.

Favorite Activity: Chasing toys that Austin has dropped is her favorite thing. She isn't crawling yet but man she is quick with her army crawl.

Milestones: She is trying to talk up a storm, she says Mama and Nah (no). She has also started to shake her head no when trying to say no. Her two bottom teeth have finally broke through, and she is starting to get her two top teeth. She is finally getting up on her hands and knees and rocking back and forth.  She has the army crawl down pat, and she is so quick.

Updates: No much to report, we took a trip to California a few weeks back and had a great time. She was so shy, and didn't let anyone hold her for the first but warmed up the last two days. She is going though severe stranger anxiety, anytime anyone looks at her she turns her head the other way. Callie is also getting her her second bout of a stomach bug. These last time really knocked her down, so much that she lost over a half of pound in a week. She seems to be getting better thankfully.
