Turkey Hill Experience

Last weekend Michael made a spur the moment decision and decided to take us all to Lancaster Pennsylvania to go to the Turkey Hill Experience.  While it wasn't what we expected we still had lots of fun. We got to see pictures of how they made ice cream and ice tea. Austin had way too much fun playing in the ball pit riding in the ice cream truck and going down the slide. We also it enjoyed a cup of some other tasty ice cream

Bluebonnets

If you live in or are from Texas you know how all about how important these pictures are. Getting pictures of your kids every year is something parents look forward to. I have tons of pictures of myself with Heather and Matt, as well as some with my friends during my senior year in high school. This is the first time I have been in town with the kids when they've been in bloom. The tradition continues...

From the looks of the pictures Callie clearly loved them!!!

White House Spring Garden Tour

Last Saturday a dear friend offered us tickets to see the White House Spring Garden Tour.  We had a great time walking around, looking at the White House grounds. On the tour we were able to view the Jacqueline Kennedy Garden, Rose Garden, Children's Garden, White House Kitchen Garden, White House Beehive, and the South Lawn of the White House. I think the highlight of the tour was seeing the First Dog, Bo.

Waiting so "patiently" for us to begin the tour

There is Bo!!

Austin thought this was a picture of Big Tex
