Happy Birthday to my wonderful husband!!! Not sure how I got so lucky, but I am not sure what we would do without you. We love you very much.

Austin's 3 Year Letter

Austin,

      Well another year as come and gone and my how you have changed. You are such a spirited little boy that brings your Daddy and I so much joy and pride. This has been a big year for our family, your baby sister Callie Ann was born. You weren't very sure about her when she was first born, if fact you did not like her at all. But over the last or so you have started to warm up to her. You love to talk to her, and climb in her crib when she is watching her mobile. I know that you are going to be a great big brother to her, she is so lucky to have you in her life!! We love you so much baby boy, I can't wait to see what this next year brings.

Here are a few things that you are doing and enjoying:

• Obsessed with cars, trains, construction trucks, airplanes, firetrucks, police cars, etc., really any mode of transportation! You will play for hours with your hot wheels, racing them across the floor or couch.
• You are really starting to enjoy building blocks and legos.
• Your favorite meal is chicken, french fries, dip, and a chocolate milk.
• Fruit us by far your favorite food group. You would eat blueberries all day long if we let you.
• You still like Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, but your really starting to love all things pirates including Jake and the Neverland Pirates.
• As of right now you want nothing to do with potty training, much to Mommy's dismay.
• You still sleep terrible, waking up 2-3 times a night. Come on little guy, your sister sleeps better than you and she is only 2 months old!!!!
• You love playing with your friends Titus and Bailey, especially when we are at their house's so you don't have to share your toys!

Here are a few highlights from this past year:

Got your first pet, Bubbles

Built a card board clubhouse, which we kept for close to 6 months

Helped Daddy fix the floors after a Hurricane hit and flooded our kitchen

 Learned to hit a baseball

Got your first bike

Went to Disneyland and met Mickey  Mouse

Baby Callie was born

Went to the beach with Aunt Heather

Austin's 3rd Birthday Part 2

We didn't have a big party here at home because I knew we would be having a huge get together in PA. We invited just over 65 people (all family), and the crowd did not disappoint we had close to 55 people show up. We had a ton of food and drinks, cake and cupcakes, party favors for the kids, and lots of good times. Austin had a great time running around with his cousins that he only sees a few times a year. Overall everyone had a great time.

Austin's 3rd Birthday Part 1

Since we live 1,300 miles from my family, we rarely get to spend birthdays together. Since we would be having a big get together in PA with all of Michael's family for Austin's birthday, I thought my parents might enjoy watching Austin open his presents from them via Skype. My parents enjoyed getting to see the excitement on Austin's face even if it was via the computer screen.
