4th of July Review
Like every other holiday wee spent the 4th of July with my inlaws at their house. It also happened to be my father in laws birthday, so there was also presents, and brownies (his favorite). Even though it was sweltering hot out Austin still managed to spend a little bit of time outside playing with his John Deere.

Petting Farm
A few weeks back I took Austin, Briana, and their cousin Christopher to a birthday at a local petting farm. The kids enjoyed pony rides, a cow train, and a tracker ride through the woods. It was terribly hot out but the kids still managed to have fun.

Birthday Party Fun
This summer is filled with birthday parties and Austin is loving it. In June we went to two different parties and we have at least 3 more lined up for July. One party we went to was for our neighbor's son, Silas, who turned a year old. Silas also happens to be Titus's (Austin's BFF) younger brother. The party was held at their cousin's house, and festivities included a bounce house, slip & slide, 2 different pools to swim in, and of course lots of cars and trains to play with. Austin is not a big fan of swimming, so he spent his time happily playing with the cars, trains, and jumping in the bounce house.
